Coffee Terminates Relationship with Fellow Coffee Bean Suppliers
San Antonio, Texas, November 05,
2023- To our amazing supporters which include but is not limited to our loyal
customers, stakeholders, and employees. We at Total Coffee would like to extend
our sincerest apologies. By not keeping our promise of providing organic coffee
beans from a reputable supply chain based on ethical fair trading we understand
that we have let all of you down. In efforts of rectifying the situation, we are
taking the necessary steps to prevent this from occurring in the future. Some
of the steps we are currently taking are as follows:
- We have terminated our
relationship with our current suppliers and are now working directly with
coffee bean farmers.
- We will remain transparent
throughout our ethical re-establishment of fair-trade policies with suppliers.
- We are now proud sponsors for
various non-profit organizations. One being Farmers and Hunters Feeding
the Hungry.
- We are committing to
repurposing our mission statement to include our new fair-trade policies
and procedures.
- As part of our new hire
training procedures, we have added a training course that is dedicated to
educating our employees on fair trading and our new supply chain
operations.
As
we move forward in our companies rebranding more changes will be made to ensure
compliance with our promises, and to remain the ethically loyal coffee bean
retailer that we have prided ourselves as being for generations. We welcome all
suggestions that can help us throughout this process. We at Total Coffee again
thank you for your long and continued support. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram,
and Facebook for all updates and news!
